Before Jeremy Clarkson decided to hospitalise his producer, we were asked to create a music mash-up using Top Gear material.
DubStep/ Rap/ Rock/ Pop …a list of good genres to choose from. So we went for Folk-Dance. After dissecting around 20 episodes, analysing roughly 1000 soundbites, drinking over 50 coffees …the 90 second symphony was created.
Made for a TV and online audience, the additional challenge was to suit both sets of viewers. Ensuring this was not only engaging -but of course shareable.
This produced record viewing figures for a BBC Worldwide Top Gear launch. Stretching across Europe through to South America.
